When this is folded up, it can be used as a hand grip to help stabilize your smartphone as you take pictures and record video. Having a firm grip is not only less shaky than having your phone balanced between your fingertips, but it can decrease the chance of dropping it.
With the three legs opened, you can use this as a mini tripod. Set your phone down on a desk, table, or nearly any other flat surface to remove the shake and blur that can come with handheld shots. Most phones have a built-in timer, so if you’re alone, you can tap and run to be a part of the picture. Each leg has non-slip material on the feet to keep it secure in tripod mode, and on the outside of each leg for security in hand grip mode.
